There is nothing more important to us than our customer’s safety and well-being. For this reason, we have reviewed our standard disease and hygiene control protocol and have enhanced these practices considering the recent Corona Virus concerns.

What measures is Doctor Feelgood taking to prevent the spread of
the Flu and Corona virus.

As standard practice, all DF staff members are trained to follow personal hygiene habits suggested by public and American medical health departments. In addition, we have implemented heightened cleaning regimens (including the use of disinfectants known to work on similar viruses), increased health-related signage and have added hand disinfectant to all service rooms, waiting areas, door counters. All therapists already wash their hands and disinfect all materials used during and after each massage service. Besides our usual disposable paper face-cradle covers we also added new face covers that get changed and washed at 60 degrees after every treatment.

What precautions should customers take?

  • We kindly request your cooperation in maintaining a safe massage environment so we urge all customers and staff that have mild cold or flu-like symptoms to follow the advice of health officials and stay home while sick to help protect others. Should you need to cancel we have waived our the 24-hour cancellation policy. If you do need to cancel please do so as soon as possible.
  • We kindly ask you to wash your hands before and after your massage treatment, you find hand washing instruction cards in all our bathrooms.
  • Please check in and out using the sanitizing gel that is provided in the waiting areas and at reception.

Can you be declined service if you are showing Flu symptoms?

If you have any mild cold-like symptoms, coughing, sore throat or a fever health officials encourage you to stay home while sick and avoid close contact to help protect others. For the safety of everyone, our licensed service providers are permitted to decline service to any customer exhibiting contagious symptoms and will reschedule your appointment. We have likewise instructed our staff that if they exhibit any cold-like symptoms, they should stay home. Should you need to cancel for any health-related reason, we will be flexible in moving your appointment to a later date without charging the usual 24-hour cancellation policy fee. However let us know as soon as possible, so we can rebook your spot. We appreciate your concern and cooperation and Doctor feelgood will continue to monitor the situation closely and take additional measures if or when they become necessary to ensure the safety of our customers and our staff.

Why don’t Massage Therapists use masks during services?

The Health Services do not recommend that people who are well wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including coronavirus. Face masks are recommended to be used by people who show symptoms of Coronavirus.

Can a customer wear a mask during a service?

We will not restrict a client’s desire to wear a face mask and we have them at your disposal, however, as stated above this is not a recommendation by the Health Services.
